The problem for most people is that there
are many companies out there selling different services.  

This can be a difficult landscape to navigate.  For example, you may have heard of "non-profit credit counseling."  Well let me say, "there isn't a business in the world that can operate without money."  In the non-profit world of Debt Consolidation and Credit Counseling in particular MMI or Money Management International work for the banks and keep their fair share of (20%).

Most people would naturally think that a "non-profit company" is going to help me and they must be a good company since they are "non-profit."  Well the CEO of MMI makes $1,000,000.00 per year.

So here is the truth, our banks have been ripping consumers off for years with credit cards and fraudulent mortgages.  Now the banks get into trouble and we/government bail them out and then they try to shut down all the various consumer debt releif, debt elimination, debt settlement companies that don't benefit the banks/governments interests.  

By the  way I should mention that the banks are the largest campaign contibutors to our politicians.  Yes its ugly people.  Take a look at the BBB website and you will see MMI listed as an A+ Accredited business. However, that rating is for New Mexico. Well last time I checked we were in Connecticut.  But it says Headquarters. Interesting since the Headquarters are in Texas where their BBB membership was REVOKED.  The CT BBB refuses to remove it. Why? Could one of the owners have a financial interst in MMI?  Yes of course.

We are consumer advocates and we work for you. The choices you make are your own choices.  We work with consumer advocate attorneys and view many of the actions of the banks as Predatory Lending.  Such as lending way more credit that a person could ever afford to pay back. What is up with that?  One word sums up everthing in our countrys financial mess. "Greed, Greed, Greed."
